Given :-

A rectangular sheet of paper 44 cm × 20 cm is rolled along its length and a cylinder is formed

To Find :-

Volume of cylinder

Solution :-

Here

Length = Height

Breadth = Circumference of base

Circumference = 2πr

44 = 2 × 22/7 × r

44 × 7/2 × 22 = r

2 × 7/2 = r

7 = r

Now

Volume = πr²h

Volume = 22/7 × (7)² × 20

Volume = 22/7 × 49 × 20

Volume = 22 × 140

Volume = 3080 cm³
