HI FRIENDS AND BE THE BRAINLIEST BY ANSWERING

Its said that kinetic energy is sufficient to overcome the force of attraction when the substance reaches at a particular temperature but by supplying heat only the particles accquire kinetic energy.

First question
Latent heat doesnt increase the kinetic energy of particles and hence there is no rise in temperature then how the kinetic energy is sufficient to overcome the force of attraction when the substance reaches at a particular temperature that is melting and boiling point.

When we provide heat the kinetic energy and the particles become far apart from other and force of attraction will overcome

Devipvu2004: But during the phase change the heat energy is used to break or overcome
