Given :

ʀᴀᴛᴇ ᴏꜰ ɪɴᴄʀᴇᴀꜱᴇ = 10%

ɴᴇᴡ ꜱᴀʟᴀʀy = 154000

To Find :

ᴏʀɪɢɪɴᴀʟ ꜱᴀʟᴀʀy

Solution :

As we know the formula for finding the original Salary, so put the given values in the formula to find answer.

ᴏʀɪɢɪɴᴀʟ ꜱᴀʟᴀʀy = ɴᴇᴡ ꜱᴀʟᴀʀy × 100/100+
ʀᴀᴛᴇ ᴏꜰ ɪɴᴄʀᴇᴀꜱᴇ

= 154000 × 100/100 +10%
= 154000 × 100/110
= 154000 × 0.909091
= ₹140000

The required answer is =
{ \boxed{ \boxed{ \boxed{ \boxed{ \boxed{ \boxed{{ \red{140000 \: rupees}}}}}}}}}

Heya !!
_____

★Let the original salary of the man be Rs. x

=> Given that ,

★New salary is Rs. 1,54,000 ( after 10% increase )

Therefore ,

New Salary = Original Salary + Increase

=> 1,54,000 = x + 10% of x

=> 1, 54, 000 = x + 10x/100

=> 1, 54 , 000 = 1 1x / 10

★Cross Multiply the terms :-

=> 11 x = 1540000

=> x = 1540000/11

=> x = 140000

◾Hence his original salary ( x ) => Rs. 1, 40 ,000
