Solidification is the process of change of state from the liquid to solid. For example, if we put freeze a water, it becomes ice which is solid. When the water is freeze, the inter molecular force of attraction becomes more high and it becomes a solid (ice).

There is nothing to explain much in this topic. That's why I've written in simple words.
