This means that population of the town increases by 7.5% per year .

Population after 1 year = 64000 + 7.5% of 64000

$= 64000 + \frac{7.5}{100} \times 64000$


$= 64000 + \frac{480000}{100}$


$= 64000 + 4800$


$= 68800$


So, population of town after 1 year = 68800

Population of town after 2 years = 68800+7.5% of 68800


$= 68800 + \frac{7.5}{100} \times 68800$


$= 68800 + \frac{516000}{100}$


$= 68800 + 5160$


$= 73960$


So, population of town after 2 years =73960

Population of town after 3 years = 73960+7.5% of 73960
