find the zeros of polynomial 2 X square + 7 X upon 2 + 3 upon 4 and verify relationship between the zeros of zeros and coefficient of polynomial

=> Taking L.C.M ->


=> 8x² + 14x + 3 = 0


=> Factorising by Middle Term Splitting ,


=> 8x² + 2x + 12x + 3 = 0

=> 2x ( 4x + 1 ) + 3 ( 4x + 1 )

=> ( 2x + 3 ) ( 4x + 1 )


=> 2x = -3 , 4x = -1

=> x = -3/2 , x = -1/4


↪Let the Zeroes be @ and ¢

▪Verification of Relation between Zeroes and Coefficient,



-> Sum of Zeroes = -b/a


-> -3/2 - 1/4 = -14/8


=> -12-2/8 = -14/8


=> -14/8 = -14/8 ✔




-> Product of Zeroes => c /a


=> -1/4 × -3/2 = 3/8


=> 3/8 = 3/8 ✔
