Hi Friends!
I have a one question ......

What is electronic configuration?
and with example....

arooba2: In atomic physics and quantum chemistry, the electron configuration is the distribution of electrons of an atom or molecule in atomic or molecular orbitals. For example, the electron configuration of the neon atom is 1s² 2s² 2p⁶.
gauri67: ok thnx
venkatlokesh: it is the process of filling electrons in an orbit the maximum number of electrons present in an orbit is 2n^2like oxgen atomic no 8 1s2 2s2 2p4ok na
gauri67: ok

Electronic configuration is the representation of no. of electrons divided in different shells.
For eg :- Carbon (C) = atomic no . = 6
electronic configuration of C = 2,4 .
