Answer:

Q 5] ∅ =45    {sin45 = 1/\sqrt{2} and cos 45 = 1/\sqrt{2}}

Q6] sinA =1/2 when A=30° hence cotA = cot30 =\sqrt{3}/1

Q7] if cos(α+β) = 0 then α+β = 90 ---eq1 (∵cos(90) = 0)

         sin A = cos 90-A hence

         sin (α-β) = cos (90-(α-β))

                       = cos (α+β-α+β)                  [ -×- = +][from eq 1]

                       = cos (2β)

Q8] sorry for this

1. Sin theta = cos theta

We can't simply write it as 45 degrees because we need to prove it.

sin theta/ cos theta = 1

sin theta/cos theta = tantheta

tantheta is 1 when theta is 45 degree

Hence theta = 45 degrees

2. sin A = 1/2

cosA = √3/2 (use Pythogorean theorem)

cot A = √3

3. cos(alpha + beta) = 0

We know, cos 900 = 0 therefore (alpha + beta) = 900 i.e. alpha = (900 - beta)

Substituting value of alpha in sin(alpha - beta) we get

sin(900 -beta -beta)

sin(900 - 2beta)

cos2beta because sin(900 - theta) = cos theta

thus, ur answer is cos2beta

4. tantheta + cot theta = 5

hence,

tan theta square + cot theta square = ?

(tan theta + cot theta ) square = tan theta square + cot theta square + 2tan theta cot theta

= 25 = tan theta square + cot theta square + 2 (because tan theta * cot theta = 1)

hence

tan theta square + cot theta square = 23

Hope this helps

I was just tryin to be helpful.
