 \bold{QUESTION \: 3}

MV = Rs. 125

NV = Rs. 100

Divident % =20 %

we know ,

Rate of return × MV=Rate of divident×FV

 \boxed{ \frac{Rate of return}{100} \times125 = \frac{20}{100} \times 100}

On cross multiplying,

Rate of return =  \frac{20 \times 100 \times 100}{125 \times 100}

Rate of return =  \frac{20 \times \cancel{100} \times 100}{125 \times \cancel{100} }

Rate of return =  \frac{20 \times 100 }{125}

Rate of return =4 ×4 =16%

 \bold{QUESTION \: 6}

Investment = Rs.18000

FV= Rs .10

MV= Rs 10 - 10 % of 10

MV = Rs 10 -  \frac{10}{100} \times 10

MV = Rs 10 -  \frac{1\cancel{0}}{1\cancel{0}\cancel{0}} \times 1\cancel{0}

MV = Rs .10 - 1

MV =Rs 9

 \boxed{Number of shares = \frac{Investment}{MV on 1 share}}

 Number of shares = \frac{18000}{9}

Number of shares =2000

 \boxed{Divident = \dfrac{Number \: of \: shares \times Divident percent \times FV}{100}}

Given MV increased by Rs 2 premium so,

New MV = 10 + 2

=Rs 12

On selling she gets = 12 × 2000

=Rs 24000

Profit = Amount got on selling all shares - investment

= 24000 - 18000

= Rs.6000
