Let the rational no. be m ,
According to the question -
m * 64 = - 49 3/5= - (5*49+ 3)/5
by BODMAS , m*64= - (245 + 3)/ 5
64m= - ( 248/5)
64m = - 49.6
m = - 49.6/64
m= - 0.775
so the rational number - 0.775 has to be multiplied with 64 to get the product - 49 3/5.
