Hi Friends,
Question :- Five persons will live in a tent . If each person requires 16m^2 of floor area and 100 m ^3 space for air then find the required height of the cone of the smallest size to accomodate those persons???

Area for 5 ppl = 16 × 5 = 80m²

Tent is conical so area of base = πr²
=> πr² = 80
r² = 80×7/22
r² = 280/11



Volume of 5 = 5 × 100 = 500m³

=> 1/3πr²h = 500
=>
 \frac{1}{3}  \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times  \frac{280}{11}  \times h = 500 \\  =  >  \frac{20}{3} h = 500 \\ h = 500 \times  \frac{3}{20}  \\ h = 75
75m is height
