Chlorine is very Important in ur daily lifes. It is a disinfectant. It kills the bacteria.

Uses of it :

  • to treat drinking water and swimming pool water.

  • used to make hundreds of consumer products from paper to paints, and from textiles to insecticides.

  • Large amounts of chlorine are used in many industrial processes, such as in the production of paper products, plastics, dyes, textiles, medicines, antiseptics too

Chlorine as diseases fighter :

  • chlorine has been one of society's most potent weapons against a wide array of life-threatening infections, viruses, and bacteria for over 150 years.

Interesting experiments:

When chlorine is added to water, a weak acid called Hypochlorous acid is produced

Some negetive effects:

  • chlorine can be harmful to your eyes, hair, nails, lungs, and yes, even your skin.
