Hello Mate,

Here is your answer,

Question 3)

Let the consecutive multiples of 7 are:

x + 7, x + 14 and x + 21 respectively.

Now given that the sum of them is 63.

So,

(x + 7) + (x + 14) + (x + 21) = 63

3x + 42 = 63

3x = 63 - 42

3x = 21

x = 7

Now by Substituting 'x' value, we will get the consecutive multiples of 7.

They are:-

x + 7

= 7 + 7

= 14

x + 14

= 7 + 14

= 21

x + 21

= 7 + 21

= 28

The numbers are 14, 21 and 28

Question 6)

Let Sita's present age = (x) years

Then Sita's father's age = (3x) years

After 6 years,

Sita's age = (x + 6) years

Sita's father's age = (3x + 6) years

Given:

The sum of their ages after 6 years will be 69.

So,

=> (x + 6) + (3x + 6) = 69

=> 4x + 12 = 69

=> 4x = 57

=> x = 14 years (approximately)

Now,

Age of Sita = x

= 14 years

Age of Sita's father = 3x

= 3 x 14

= 42 years

Hope it helps:)
