Explanation: The teacher should start by blowing air into the tube a which represents how we breathe in and how the oxygen inflates the balloon increasing its surface area increase causing the rubber sheet to straighten which represents how our diaphragm behaves when we inhale. Next the teacher should breathe in order to deflate the balloon showing how we exhale. when the balloons area decreases the rubber sheet returns to its bent shape which represents how our diaphragm behaves when we exhale.
