the irony in the poem Ozymandias is that the great king also called king had his statue placed in the mid of the city on whose pedestal it has a note carrying his was that Ozymandias is the King of Kings and that no other King has born stronger greater and welfare than him but in the real sense actually his statue is carrying just the ravages of time and had gone to ground stood only trunc with no face and a half burnt visage is lying there so in this way the poet beautifully shows the irony in this poem
