During heavy exercise,cycling,fast running or walking for many hours ,the demand for energy js high. But the supply of oxygen is to produce the energy which is limited.Then anaerobic respiration takes place in the muscle cells to fullfil the demand of energy. the anaerobic respiration end products are glucose in the absence of oxygen produces lactic acid+energy.
