OHM'S LAW

Who had given the ohm's law ?

Georg Simon Ohm

What is ohm's law ?

The current flowing through a conductor is directly proportional to potential difference across its end.

According to ohm's law,

V α I

[where V = potential difference, I = current flowing through the conductor ]

for removing the directly proportionality sign(α) a constant R is used

i.e ,

V = RI

[where R is the resistance of the conductor ]

Resistance --> The property of a conductor by which it resist the flow of current through it.

V = IR

V = potential difference across the conductor.

SI unit is volt(V)

I = current flowing through it.

si unit is Ampere(A)

R = resistance (ohm)
