Non-metallic character increases across a period from left to right and decreases on moving down the group from top to bottom. Hence, the order of increasing non-metallic character is

Si < B < C < N < F

in a group, non-metallic character decreases from top to bottom. Thus, C is more non-metallic than Si. Therefore, the correct sequence of decreasing non-metallic character .
