what are the disadvantages of multiporpose projects (example dams)

Due to construction of dams 1.natural habitat will be submerged so natural environment is destroyed.

2. People living near the valley must move out they lose their assests.

3.Dams damage the surrounding environment.

4.it does not allow fishes to migrate upstream past impediment dams got spawning.

5.Dams are very expensive to built.
