(i) Conventional and non conventional sources of energy..

Conventional sources of energy (e.g. coal, petroleum and natural gas) are non-renewable sources of energy. Non-conventional sources of energy (e.g.solar and wind energy) are renewablesources of energy. They have been in use since a long time. ... They do not cause any pollution (e.g. solar energy, geothermal energy etc.)

(ii) Biogas and natural gas

Main source of it includes solar, wind, tidal, biogas etc.  Difference, between Bio gas and natural gas. It is produced from organic waste such as cowdung, dead plant, agricultural waste. It is an excellent fuel for cooking and lighting and also produce huge amount of organic manure.

(iii) Ferrous and nonferrous minerals

Ferrous Metals mostly contain Iron. They have small amounts of other metals or elements added, to give the required properties. All those minerals that contain iron are called ferrous minerals.Non-Ferrous: Metals do not contain Iron, are not magnetic and are usually more resistant to corrosion than ferrous metals.

(iv) Metallic and nonmetallic minerals

Metallic Minerals is composed of metalsin their original form, whereas no metalsare found in non-metallic minerals.Minerals possess a definite chemical structure, and their identification is based on their physical properties. The place where minerals are found is called anore.

➡️ Biogas plants rely on anaerobic digestion, a fermentation process in which waste is digested by microbes to produce methane gas (biogas). The waste can be converted into biofertiliser and spread directly onto fields, or the biogas itself can be used interchangeably with natural gas as fuel.

➡️ Ferrous Minerals: Ferrous mineralsshow high magnetic properties.Nonferrous Minerals: Nonferrous minerals do not show magnetic properties. Ferrous Minerals: Ferrous minerals are less resistant to corrosion. ... Nonferrous minerals: They do not have iron in their chemical composition
