Angle BOC is equal to 80 + 120 = 200°
Reflex angle BOC is equal to 360 - 200 = 160°
angle BOC = 2 ( angle BAC) [ angle subtended by arc at centre is twice angle subtended by it at any other point on the circle]
therefore,
160 = 2 ( angle BAC)
angle BAC = 160/2
angle BAC = 80°
therefore, k = angle BAC = 80°
therefore, k/40° = 80/40 = 2
Answer Is 2.
