or 4a- 2b + 6 = 3

or 4a - 2b = -3 .......................(i)

⇒ a (4$)^2$ - b (4) + 6 = 30

or 16a -4b + 6 = 30

or 16a - 4b = 24

or 4a -b = 6 .....................................(ii)

Subtracting (i) from (ii) we get-

4a-b - 4a +2b  = 6 + 3

or b = 9

Putting the value of b in (ii), we get

a = 15/4
