a ball is thrown up at a height of 20meter . If its acceleration is 10meter per second square with what velocity will it strike the ground and after what time will it strike the ground??​

u = 20m/s

a = (-10)m/s

v= 0

v= ut + 1/2 at^2

ut = -1/2 (-10) t^2

20 = 5 .t

t = 4 sec

this is only when it reach max height

when it will reach ground :-

time of ascent = time of decent

So, it will take 8 secs to reach the ground
