Ans 1) = A Vertebrae is an animal of a large group distinguished by the possession of a backbone or spinal column, including mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and fishes.

Ans 2) = Archimedes' principle states that the upward buoyant force that is exerted on a body immersed in a fluid, whether fully or partially submerged, is equal to the weight of the fluid that the body displaces and acts in the upward direction at the center of mass of the displaced fluid.

Ans 3) = Arthropoda, animals having jointed appendages or legs.

2) It is a phylum of triploblastic, haemocoelomic, segmented invertebrates having head, thorax and abdomen, a chitinous exoskeleton and jointed legs and appendages.

3) Most successful phylum on the Earth that has ever existed.

Examples of arthropods =  horseshoe crabs, spiders, scorpions, sea spiders and mites. Myriapoda: millipedes, centipedes, pauropods and symphylans e,t,c .

1) Vertebrates. Animals can be classified as either vertebrates or invertebrates.Vertebrates are animals that have a backbone inside their body. The major groups include fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals.

2) State Archimedes principle and its twoapplications? Archimedes principle states that the upward buoyant force that is exerted on a body immersed in a fluid whether fully or partially submerged is equal to the wieght of the fluid that the body displaces.

3) However, the members of this phylum, despite their incredible diversity and sheer numbers, share a number of important distinguishing characteristics.

Exoskeleton. ...

Segmented Bodies. ...

Jointed Appendages. ...

Bilateral Symmetry. ...

Open Circulatory System.
