Hi guys.. which is known as the power house of human body?? and why??

the answer is Liver...it is the largest internal organs... it is responsible for balancing the carbohydrates,liquids & proteins ....every cell contains 1,500 mitochondria...the liver is a major metabolic powerhouse..liver cell difficult to maintain outside the body
power house means where energy sotred since liver is the lagest gland it may store proteins and carbohydrates but when our body needs energy it will stimulate mitochondrias in a cell to produce atp energy as it is also called pwer house of a cell not liver bcz nor it store energy neither it produce energy but it can transport stored protiens through blood to the stimulated cells where mitochondria utilise this protiens and produce energy i think it is enough to understand

mitochondria is known as power house bcause all the enery production of body initiates in mitochondria of a cell
