Hi, Hellos and Namste

Here are 2 fresh questions for you all :-

Ques 1) If x = 2 and y = - 2, then find value of x - y ^( x - y ).

Ques 2) [ x / x^( 1.5 ) ] = 8x^-1 and x > 0, then x is?

(1)

Given x = 2 and y = -2.

Now,

= > x - y^(x - y)

= > 2 - (-2)^(2 - (-2))

= > 2 - 2^(2 + 2)

= > 2 -  2^4

= > 2 - 16

= > -14.

(2)

Given Equation is [x/x^1.5)] = (8x)^-1

= \ \textgreater \   \frac{x}{ x^{1.5} } =  8x^{-1}

= \ \textgreater \  x =  \frac{8 x^{1.5} }{x}

On squaring both sides, we get

= \ \textgreater \  x^2 = ( \frac{ 8x^{1.5} }{x} )^2

= \ \textgreater \  x^2 = ( \frac{8^2x^3}{x^2} )

= \ \textgreater \  x^2 = 64x

[tex]= \ \textgreater \ x = 64. [/tex]

Hope this helps!
