Hi, I have a hp elitebook 840, which has a problem that power button and caps lock keeps flashing but display isn't working. Please can anybody help me with this problem.

yeah.its the problem with the display.....try buying another display for your pc ...
the light is flashing because of the signals that undergoes inside the pc ...
you may give the pc for servicing
