hi i have doubt I am getting the ans as 999.999 so can we tell that we can write the ans as 999.9bar as it is reccuring??? I belive after multiplycation can we do in exam of science like that CAn we place a bar on top i meant999.9bar??? Also when do we put bar on top???

Nope, bar is used after a decimal place on a number if that number is repeating infinitely many times. In this case, 999.999, the decimal digit 9 is occuring finite times, that is 3 times. So bar here cannot be used. It will be only written as 999.999.
