Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let Anna's age be x and son Jaime's age be y

Age after 15 years will be x+15 and y+15

Given x = 3y ---------------(1)

x+15=2(y+15) ----------------(2)

Substitute x=3y in (2)

3y+15=2y+30

y=15

x=45

Anna's age =45 and son Jaime's age =15

Answer:

30 years

Step-by-step explanation:

let age of Anna be x and age of Jaime be y

x = 3y

=> x-3y = 0.............(1)

x+15 = 2(y+15)

x-2y = 15...........(2)

eqn (1) - eqn (2)

=> y = 15

therefore difference of ages

= x-y

= 3y-y

= 2y

= 30 years

Anna is 30 years more than his son.

hope this helps you
