We know that India is a poverty strickened country....so y doesn't our Reserved Bank of India , print more and more money and give them to the poor and needy?

CoolestCat015: Its not an awful question. But think if RBI literally gave money they printed to poor why would even people work ? To counter this, the prices of goods will rise and the value of the currency would fall. Great question. ^_^

It's what , a kind of question that nobody asks ... but I would like to thank you for questioning !

My Views ;-

What i think , that is not the solution to eradicate the poverty rather that will bring down the value of INR.

But keeping your respect towards the poor , to eradicate the poverty we have to prodcue cheaper products, increase exports, provide basic amenities and become competitive.
