Step by Step process :

As you can see that there is right angle triangle ∆OMA

in which OM=11cm.

AM=AB/2

(Because from centre when there is a normal has been made on a chord perpendicularly,it divides the chord in two equal parts.)

AM =120/2=60cm.

so by Pythagoras theorem :

 { ao }^{2}  =  {om}^{2}  +  {am}^{2}

AO^2=60^2+11^2

AO=61cm.

now AO is radius of the circle

and we want to find the length of AD which the diameter of the circle

so AD = 2×radius

AD=2×61 =122cm.
