In motion we have studied that anything that does not show any displacement with time is at rest but that anything is on earth and earth is always rotating it means that the tree is also always rotating but why do we say that it is at rest?Reason?​

UNIVERSALLY, IF WE SAY REST DOESN'T EXIST IN THIS UNIVERSE.BECAUSE THE WHOLE UNIVERSE IS MOVING.

BUT WE CONSIDER TREES AND MANY THINGS AT REST. ITS BECAUSE WE TAKE IT RELATIVELY. MEANS WE VISUALISE IT AT A CONSTANT POSITION TO THAT TREE AT CONSTANT POSITION. SO WE CONSIDER IT AS REST. BESIDES THE WHOLE THINGS ARE MOVING AT SAME VELOCITY. SO RELATIVELY ALL THE THINGS WHICH HAVE REST POSITION WE CALL IT REST
