hope this helps you☺

Maintaining a diary is generally a very good habit. Moreover, one can always check facts looking back, remember events, find an outlet and effectively document one’s life this way. Also, some people even name their diaries and address them like an imaginary friend.

A personal journal is a private possession. In other words, this diary usually is just for you and it’s not for public reading, so one can write liberally. But for the benefit of the readers, we’d like to show you all how is a diary entry generally written. What we are laying down here are good practices that one can inculcate while writing their diary entry.

1ST DAY ON MY SPORTS GAME:

15th August 2015

Dear diary,

I ´d never felt so alive. Rafting is a very dangerous sport. It was during my Holydays in Asturias. I never thought I could practice this kind of sport because I’m fearful. My wife loves those sports and she told me that I had to choose one among this list: Bungee Jumping, rock climbing, rafting, skydiving,… I remember that I thought: “if I had known that Asturias is a land of adventure I wouldn’t have come here at all”. But it was so late, I had to choose one. Rafting seemed to be the less risky. I was wrong. Apparently, not much equipment is needed to its practicing: a life vest, trainers and a swimsuit are enough, but the surprise would come later.

When we arrived to the river it seemed on calm. Besides, I saw the boat, the big yellow boat and I took a deep breath while I thought that it couldn’t be as dangerous as it seemed. Everyone on board took the live vests, but I forgot mine. Immediately, the quiet river turned in a wild one and it was the moment in which I realized I didn’t wear the life vest. The seconds seemed minutes and minutes seemed hour. When the trail finished I told my wife I´ll never do it again.

Although it was the worst sport experience in my life, I think If I had worn the life vest I would have had better experience about rafting.
