Rusting of iron is undesirable coz rusting causes iron to get weakened and hence it makes iron to go an undesirable change. Even after rusting once when then euust falls off it makes more iron to get exposed to air and hence it is undesirable

Rusting is a chemical reaction. Iron reacts with moisture in the air and forms an oxide of iron which is called iron (III) oxide or ferric oxide (Fe2O3). The iron object looses its strength after it gets rusted. So it is an undesirable change.
