The mood of the poem is didactic because it intends to teach people about the negative impact of television has on children.on the othe hand the poet asks parents to throw away television ..and on the other hand he asks them to install a lovely bookshelfon the wall....the poet is monstrous nd idiotic , but books are fillef with fantastic tales......
