Menstruation is an important part of the reproductive process and is a signal that you're maturing and that you're healthy.

The gamete formation in females is a cyclic activity takes about 28- 29 days and involves changes in structure and function of reproductive system . it is called menstrual cycle . The menstrual cycle occurs in primates like monkeys ,apes , humans . In humans female menstrual cycle ceases around 45 years of age and this stage is called menopause .. THIS BLEEDING OCCURS WHEN THE EGG IS NOT FERTILIZED WITH SPERM.
