hi my dear genius friends please answer my question
1=why do planets rotate and why do everything in the universe rotate
2=why everything in the universe is spherical in shape
3=what is the shape of the universe? Prof your answer

HERE IS YOUR ANSWER.............

☜☆☞ The answer to this question lies partly in gravity, and partly in conservation of angular momentum
Planets revolve around the sun (or more appropriately, bary centre ) because of Gravitation . Gravity keeps pulling things towards itself, because of which planets revolve around sun, or other stars
P.S: the exact explanation of the above answer involves general theory of relativity, but for the sake of brevity i have left it out.
Rotation on other hand is due to conservation of angular momentum. Since planets (as a matter of fact, nearly everything in visible part of universe) is formed due to accretion of matter, the repeated collisions/ accretion of matters lead to condensation of matter in a very small space than it was before. Just like a ballet dancer pulls her hands in to increase speed, this condensation of matter in a smaller space causes bodies to rotate faster.
Gravity pulls things together. When there are many things together pulling on each other through gravity, you can treat it as if they’re all being pulled towards their collective centre of mass. Since gravity is pulling things as close together as possible, the things form the shape where everything is distributed closest to the centre, and that shape is a sphere.

Astronomical objects that are not massive enough for their gravity to overcome (let’s say) the rigidity of the rock they are made of, end up more of a potato shape, which is seen in smaller moons and asteroids.

☜☆☞ At the heart of understanding the universe is the question of the shape of the universe.  Does it have positive curvature, negative curvature, or is it flat?  Is it like a torus, a sphere, a saddle or something else completely?  These questions will help determine if the universe is truly infinite – or perhaps a bounded loop – in which if you travelled far enough in one direction you would return to where you had set off from.  It will also help determine what will happen to universe – will it keep expanding?  Slow down and stop, or crunch back in on itself?
