Hi, my question was that if x+2 is factor of (x)3 - 2a(x)2 + 16, then the value of "a" is????

put x=-2

2a(-2)² +16=0

2a×(-4)+16=0

-8a=-16

a=16/8

a =2

therefore, value of a is 2
