The resistance are in series therefore it is maximum effective current __
let R = 1 Ω and R' = 2 Ω
Equivalent resistance = 3 Ω
V = 3 volt
Therefore total reading of ammeter = V / R
I = 3 V / 3 Ω
I = 1 A
Now in series current remains same and voltage changes ,
V = IR
V = 1 A × 2 Ω
V = 2 Volts
