MENDELS EXPERIMENT ON PEA PLANT-

First, he took a 2 pea plant which had

different characteristics [say tall

TT & short tt].

he crossed 2 pea plants and observe the offspring.

they were all tall with trait Tt (more refer attachment). but short character was not expressed.

then he took 2 pea plant of F1 generation which are offspring.

when he crossed, he noticed that in F2 generation 1 short character was expressed with tt.

hence he concluded that traits are inherited indipendently..

hope this will help you...
