The correct answer is option b)

When we stand, our whole weight rests on our body, and hence, the pressure will be more

When we lie down, the whole weight is almost evenly distributed and hence, the pressure is less

That's why we go in when stand on a heap of sand

and we remain at the same position, when we lie on the sand
