30 ohm will be the resistance of the voltmeter.....

Explanation:

Current remains same in series circuit

Hence current in circuit = 2/10 = 1/5 A

This current will be across the voltmeter

Using ohm law...

V=IR

3 = 1/5 * R

R = 15 ohm

Equivalent resistance of voltmeter and the resistor = 15 Ohm

Hence resistance of voltmeter is....

1/R + 1/R' = 15 ohm

1/R = 15 - 1/30

R = 30 ohm
