Step-by-step explanation:

1) Solution :-

Given that -3 ≤ x ≤ 7

The possible values of x = -3,-2,-1,0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7

and

4 ≤ y ≤ 10

The possible values of y = 4,5,6,7,8,9,10

Now,

a )

The smallest possible value of x-y

=> The least value of x - The greatest value of y

=> -3-10

=> -13

b)

The largest possible value of x/y

=> The greatest value of x / The least value of y

=> 7/4

c)

The largest possible value of x²-y²

=> (Largest value of x)² - ( Least value of y)²

=> 7²-(4)²

=> 49-16

=>33

d)

The smallest possible value of x³+y³

=> (The smallest value of x)³+(The greatest value of y)³

=> (-3)³+(4)³

=> -27+64

=> -37

2)

Given that 27-2x ≤ 8

On Subtracting 27 from both sides then

=> 27-27-2x ≤ 8-27

=> -2x ≤ -19

=> 2x ≥ 19

=> x ≥ 19/2

=> x ≥ 9.5

a) The least possible value of x = 9.5

b) The least possible integer value of x = 10

3)

Given that

5x > 69-2x

On adding 2x both sides then

=> 5x + 2x > 69-2x+2x

=> 7x > 69

On dividing by 7 then

=> (7x/7) > (69/7)

=> x > 69/7

=> x > 9.85...

The possible values of x = 10 , 11 ,12...

and

27 - 2x ≥ 4

On subtracting 27 from both sides

=> 27-27 -2x ≥ 4-27

=> -2x ≥ -23

=> 2x ≤ 23

=> x ≤23/2

=> x ≤ 11.5

The possible integer values of x = 12,13,...
