Answer:

Ans 1) The term "current" describes the motion of the ocean.

Ocean currents are driven by wind, water density differences, and tides. Oceanic currents describe the movement of water from one location to another.

Ans 2) for this question ....I had given a attachment above...

Ans 3) Ocean water and currents affect the climate. Because it takes far more energy to change the temperature of water than land or air, water warms up and cools off much more slowly than either. As a result, inland climates are subject to more extreme temperature ranges than coastal climates, which are insulated by nearby water. Over half the heat that reaches the earth from the sun is absorbed by the ocean's surface layer, so surface currents move a lot of heat. Currents that originate near the equator are warm; currents that flow from the poles are cold.

Ans 4) An ocean current is any more or less permanent or continuous, directed movement of ocean water that flows in one of the Earth's oceans.

The currents are generated from the forces acting upon the water like the earth's rotation, the wind, the temperature and salinity differences and the gravitation of the moon.

Ans 5) The up and down movements of water in the sea are known as sea waves. The lower part is called wave trough whereas, the upper part of the wave is called wave crest. The distance between two adjacent crests is the wavelength and the vertical distance between the crest and the trough is the wave height.

Wave height is affected by wind speed, wind duration (or how long the wind blows), and fetch, which is the distance over water that the wind blows in a single direction. If wind speed is slow, only small waves result, regardless of wind duration or fetch. If the wind speed is great but it only blows for a few minutes, no large waves will result even if the wind speed is strong and fetch is unlimited.

I had given fully detailed explanation of these 5 questions........next time please....give more points for these kind of question as you have asked 5 question.....
