We will consider the angle beside 112° to be 'a'.

∴ a = 180° - 112°     (Linear pair)

= a = 68°

Now, since it is an alternate angle, y = 75°

∴ z = 180° - (75° + 68°)    (Sum of all angles of a triangle is 180°)

= z = 37°

∴ x = 180° - (75° + 37°)

= x = 112°
