MAHARASTRA

Maharashtra us spread over 3,07,713 sq.km. It has a population of 7,89,37,187 members. It's capital state is Mumbai and the language spoken in Maharashtra is Marathi. The major crops grown here are Jawar, Bajra,Sugarcane. The rivers that flow through Maharashtra are Godavari, Krishna,Bhima,Koyana.

The major cities of Maharashtra are Mumbai, Nagpur, Aurangabad and Nasik.
