  • Bacteria: Bacteria come in a variety of shapes (spheres, rods, or spirals) and are a diverse group of organisms. Many cause disease, such as some strains of E. coli, while others actually help support life, such as the bacteria inside our intestines.Common diseases caused by bacteria include Typhoid, Pneumonia, Sore throat, Tetanus, Diphtheria
