Given Equation is 3x^2 + 2x + p(p - 1) = 0.

Here a = 3, b = 2, c = p(p - 1).

Given that the roots are of opposite sign.

Note: We know that when roots are of opposite sign, then product of roots is negative.

We know that product of roots is (c/a).

= > (c/a) < 0

= > [p(p - 1)/3] <0

= > p(p - 1) < 0

= > 0 < p < 1

Interval notation = (0,1).

Therefore, the final answer is  (0,1) - Option (B).

Hope it helps!
