The co-ordinates of end points of a diameter of a circle are (7,9) and (-1, -3). The
co-ordinates of centre of circle is

Let the diameter pf circle be AB and O be the centre of the circle and A(7,9) and B(-1,-3) be the given coordinates of the diameter.

Now,

AO = BO (since AO and BO are radous of circle)

By midpoint formula we get-

Coordinates of O

= {(x1+x2/2),(y1+y2)}

= {(7+(-1)/2),9+(-3)/2}

= {(7-1/2),(9-3/2)}

= {(6/2),(6/2)

= (3,3)

THEREFORE OPTION A IS CORRECT.
