Answer:

Okay so, lemme tell you what is intercultural relationships.

In simple language when you interact with people of other culture or different from you then you are in intercultural relationship.

So, here's some problems of intercultural relationships:

  • The first time- At the initial time it'll be very hard for you to even interact with that community or person as they speak different language.
  • The difference between two communities- There's some disparities between two communities which can't be fixed and if tried to fix, can lead to a lotta struggles.
  • The right lifestyle- In most of the cases, people forget their original lifestyle and continue to live in the other culture's lifestyle.
  • For eg. in Islam it's prohibited to take alcohol and it's considered ‘Haram’ but you can clearly see that in western countries it's not a sin but a ‘cool fashion’. And yes, we should not get into soo deep in other's culture that we even forget ours!

And here you go with the benefits of close intercultural relationships:

  • It helps us expand our view on things around us- For eg. in many conservative families women aren't allowed to move outta house and even use social media but as they see other cultures too, they'll start working without any hesitation.
  • It tells us what right and wrong- Like eating meat is allowed in many religions but as you explore Buddhism and other such religions, you'll find that eating meat isn't good as a human as we can't take others life to fill our stomach.
  • It educates us more and more- If I take an example, I'm a Hindu but because I want to explore more on humanity, I watch ‘free Quran education’ channel on YouTube which is aired by Mufti Menk- a big Maulvi in the Middle east who give soo good education like why we should not drink alcohol, and even motivates a lot to focus on our goals. And I read about Buddhism also and I learnt what actual peace and success is.

Al last, my conclusion is that you should follow your religion and culture where it's good and should check where it's wrong! Like for eg. in Hinduism it's said that men are strong and should cry but I don't like that! Also If some questions in my mind like ‘should we consume meat?’ and I'm still finding it's answer becuase every religion has given different conclusions on it. Also, don't follow any costume blindly just check why should you do that and go for it. Don't think that earth is flat because it's given in books, don't believe that women should burn herself if it's given in book. God has given us intelligence to find out what's wrong and what to do.

Thank you!
